About our Facility:
Sage Memorial Hospital (“Sage”) is an award-winning private healthcare system consisting of a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and Outpatient Clinics, located on a 100-acre campus in scenic Ganado, Arizona. Position: Emergency Medicine Physician
The ER Provider will work 12-hour shifts either from 7AM to 7PM or 7PM to 7AM. Midlevel provider support is available from 5pm-10pm Mon-Thur, and 10am-10pm Fri-Sun. Annual patient volumes of approximately 12,000. Provider should be comfortable stabilizing level 1 trauma for transport as acuity may vary widely. Ancillary services include medical diagnostic imaging (CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound), pharmacy, laboratory, respiratory therapy services, physical therapy, behavioral health, and social services. The night shift ER Physicians will perform Inpatient admissions from 7PM to 7AM. (Care to be transferred to Hospitalist at 7 AM) ATLS, PALS, BLS, and DEA required.
The Hospitalist will work 12-hour shifts from 7AM to 7PM. No call, no ICU, no pediatrics. Care is transferred to Hospitalist for all patients admitted by ER Physician from 7PM to 7AM. Specialty backup includes 24/7 ER Physician onsite and ancillary services including medical diagnostic imaging (CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound), pharmacy, laboratory, respiratory therapy services, physical therapy, behavioral health, and social services. Provider should be comfortable performing all inpatient medical procedures including central line placement, chest tube placement and code management. ACLS, BLS, and DEA required.
